Susan is a Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor with experience serving clients in intensive outpatient settings. Susan received a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2004 from Adrian College and received a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2022 from Indiana University Kokomo. She enjoys working with youth, adolescents, adults, couples, and families and has clinical experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. Susan utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Techniques, and Cognitive-Processing Therapy. Being supportive, empathetic, understanding, and warm with her clients, her main goal as a clinician is to create a safe judgment free space for them to be vulnerable so that they can heal. In her free time, you can find Susan watching her children play a variety of sports, at home baking with her family, spending time with her four-legged children, and traveling/sight-seeing with her children and her husband.
