What is therapy?
Therapy, sometimes referred to as psychotherapy because it involves the mind, is a process where a trained provider can help individuals work through challenges that prevent them from being at their best. Some of these challenges may include depression, anxiety, PTSD, fears, relationship issues, family problems, difficulty coping with stress, grief, or other issues. Specifically trained professional counselors, psychologists, or social workers provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where open dialogue becomes easier and remains confidential. Together, this ongoing relationship can help unlock new ways of thinking about problems and help individuals to develop the skills needed to work through them. Therapy can help us identify and change behaviors that keep us from feeling our best.
What kinds of insurance do you accept?
We accept a variety of major commercial insurances, such as Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, TriCare, Carelon, Community Health Direct, Optum VA, Cigna, and others. We welcome almost all Medicaid plans and select Medicare plans, and self-payment is also an option. For more details, please visit our In-Network Insurance page.
Do you take Medicaid?
We sure do, but all insurances change regularly so there may be one or two we don’t yet accept. We are happy to inform you when you call to schedule an appointment.
Do you accept people with no insurance?
How do I become a client or patient?
Call us to talk with an associate to set up your first appointment or stop in to one of our locations and inquire about setting up an appointment. If you plan to use insurance, we will need all the pertinent information to set up your account- insurance name, name of the insured, along with date of birth, insurance ID, and any group numbers.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
Do any therapists do appointments after regular office hours?
How do I pay my bill?
Clients/patients are welcome to pay at the window in our offices by credit/debit cards, checks, or cash. We also have a Patient Portal where online payments can be made. Alternatively, we can take payments over the phone. Be assured that all payment information is treated with care and confidentiality.
